Privacy
Tallpine is built to keep your work on your machine. This notice explains what the website and the app do with data.
Effective date: 2026-10-30
Who is responsible
JustDev OÜ, a company registered in Estonia, runs this website and makes the Tallpine app. You can contact us about privacy at hello@tallpine.eu.
This website
The website uses no cookies, analytics or trackers, and loads nothing from third parties. Our server keeps standard access logs, which record details of each request such as the IP address, time, page requested and browser. We use them only to run and secure the site.
The Tallpine app
The app sends no data to JustDev OÜ. It has no telemetry, analytics or crash reporting, and needs no account with us. Its data stays on your Mac, in ~/.tallpine and in your repositories.
The AI agents it runs talk directly to the model providers you sign in to, such as Anthropic, OpenAI or AWS. What they send, and how it is handled, is governed by those providers’ terms and privacy policies. The same applies to the source-control services you connect, such as GitHub or GitLab.
Tallpine itself talks to GitHub or GitLab for pull requests and checks, and to GitHub to see whether a newer release of an agent CLI exists. That version check sends no data about you or your code. When you ask it to install an agent, it downloads the installer over HTTPS.
The phone connection is off until you turn it on. When it is on, traffic goes through the Tailscale or Cloudflare tunnel you choose, and push notifications go through Expo.
Updates: the Mac app checks the public GitHub Releases of Tallpine for a new version at launch and every 6 hours, and downloads signed updates from there. Tallpine adds no account or identifier to that request, and GitHub handles it like any other download under its own privacy terms. Updates are on by default; turning them off in Settings stops the check.
