Who we are

Tallpine is made by JustDev OÜ, a company registered in Estonia. “We” and “us” mean JustDev OÜ. You can contact us at hello@tallpine.eu.

Licence and “as is”

Tallpine is provided under the Apache License, Version 2.0. It is provided “as is”, without warranties or conditions of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty that it is fit for a particular purpose, free of errors, or that it will run without interruption. The licence text governs your rights to use, copy, modify and distribute the software.

What the tool does

Tallpine starts AI coding agents on your own machine. They run with your user account’s permissions. Depending on how you set them up, agents can:

• read, change and delete files;
• run commands and programs;
• push code, and open or merge pull requests;
• use your own accounts with AI providers, which may cost you money.

AI agents can make mistakes, misread instructions or act in ways you did not expect.

Your responsibility

You stay in charge of what the agents do. In particular, you are responsible for:

• deciding what agents may do, including the permissions, credentials and repositories you give them;
• reviewing their output before you merge, release or deploy it;
• keeping backups of your code and data;
• complying with the terms and usage limits of your AI providers and other services the agents use.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, JustDev OÜ is not liable for any damages that arise from using Tallpine or from actions taken by its agents. This includes data loss, unwanted code changes, costs charged by AI providers or other services, and security incidents.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, such as liability for intent or gross negligence, or your mandatory rights as a consumer.

Trademarks

“Tallpine” and the Tallpine logo are trademarks of JustDev OÜ. The Apache License does not grant any rights to use them.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Estonia. Disputes are settled by Harju County Court (Harju Maakohus) in Tallinn, unless mandatory law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The effective date at the top shows when they last changed. If you keep using Tallpine after a change, the updated terms apply to that use.
